Training Programs

Our training programs are designed on a solid foundation of principals and components that separate ASP from the industry. These principles and components have been developed from countless hours of study, application, mentorship seminars, but most importantly from experience in training athletes and adult clientele. Each phase of training provides a “favorable pre-requisite” for the following period of training. This planned sequence provides a safe, productive environment and results driven atmosphere…meeting the demands of each and every client. As a result of the unique combination of science and practical application ASP has been recognized as an elite training facility in Michigan.

Our workout components are strategically, logistically and individually structured to create a recipe for success. They are methodically planned…the exercise selection, intensity and duration are changed every phase (12 workouts) to provide a favorable adaptation stimulus.

Every athlete receives an personalized program

In order to achieve maximum results, Athlete Strength and Performance builds training programs so that each athlete has a program tailored specifically to their individual goals. Before starting any program, a Functional Movement Screen™ is performed to measure an individual’s physical state. This ensures your individual program will be safe while building a solid foundation of strength. We also provide nutritional guidance with pre- and post-training supplementation and meal strategies designed to maximize gains and help athletes reach their body composition goals.

These steps allow ASP to create a customized training program designed to better support the needs and goals of each individual.

HR Monitoring

Every athlete uses HR belts to track calories burned, heart rate, duration of activity, and more.




Wear your MYZONE belt within Athlete Strength and Performance and look for the displays throughout the facility. Your information will be streamed real-time to these displays in the form of a color-coded tile that will show you how much effort you’re exerting at that particular moment.



Pair your MYZONE MZ-3 belt to the free MYZONE app, which serves as your portable tile. You can stream your activity, upload your data, and review your results right from your smartphone. In addition, the app allows you to monitor your activity calendar, workout graphs, and challenges, as well as upload your before and after photos and keep a picture food diary.
